This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of research methods and practices in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT). It explores various research designs, both qualitative and quantitative, used to investigate language teaching and learning. The course emphasizes the importance of conducting evidence-based research to improve instructional strategies, curriculum development, and language assessment. Students will learn to critically evaluate existing research, formulate research questions, collect and analyze data, and present their findings in a scholarly manner. By the end of the course, students will be able to design and conduct research projects that contribute to the advancement of ELT practices.
